Salvation is a divine gift bestowed upon individuals solely by God, reflecting His sovereign choice. The chosen individuals are predestined from the very inception of the world. Our actions and efforts cannot earn God's favor, as we are naturally inclined to reject Him and remain spiritually lifeless. It is only through the gracious bestowal of new life that we can embrace faith, and even that belief is a product of divine grace. In the process of salvation, we play a completely passive role while God actively orchestrates it. The existence of our benevolent God is made possible by the boundless love between the Father and the Son, reciprocated in equal measure. The purpose of Christ's incarnation was to fulfill the will of the Father, an objective achieved flawlessly and in perfect harmony. The pinnacle of their love was demonstrated on the cross, where the Son selflessly surrendered Himself to fulfill His Father's desires. This act of love represents the utmost pinnacle of affection. This relationship between the Father and the Son takes precedence above all others, while our acceptance of salvation assumes a secondary role.We are embraced within the affection that the Father holds for the Son by being united with the Son. Our salvation relies entirely on the Son from the beginning to eternity. Those who have been given by the Father to the Son cannot be lost. Our loving connection involves being in Christ. If we were to ever be separated from this relationship, it would imply that God is no longer God. Such a notion is inconceivable! Contemplating the eternal sonship of God fills me with an overwhelming sense of love. I have a Father who loves me not because of my own righteousness, but because of the righteousness of His Son. This realization brings me great freedom! Being accepted into the embrace of the Father is our greatest source of joy. We implore you, Father, to communicate to us and affirm that we belong to you. Save us completely, for the sake of your glory. Amen.
