It can be inferred that the apostle is not issuing a warning to the community of believers, as he distinguishes the threatening environment as one inhabited by a morally corrupt and wicked generation. On the contrary, the Christian community is expected to display a level-headed and benevolent demeanor. It is imperative that our speech aligns with the principles of the gospel, which emphasizes the importance of grace.It is intriguing that the apostle advocates for the protection of the believers through his assertive declaration against the world, encouraging them to emulate his example. The fear of God, in this context, does not induce anxiety among the believers, but rather envelops the community with security through the defense provided by those who convey divine messages. Therefore, when we discuss the concept of fear and trembling, it is within the framework of God's strict judgment upon the world. This can be illustrated by the imagery of Christ, akin to the rescuer of David, wielding burning coals on His lips.This passage refers to the divine message of salvation conveyed by Christ, which was transmitted through the authority bestowed upon David. Specifically, it addresses the ability to speak Gods words that have the capacity to determine life or death, both in the eternal and temporal sense. It asserts that believers are imbued with the pronouncements during times of intense conflict or challenge. The confidence exhibited in this context is considered to be beyond the realm of natural capabilities. Hence, it is argued that the power of divine grace, as manifested in God's words, fosters resilience and perseverance amidst tribulations.Occasionally, we find ourselves in a state of despair where we are unable to immediately find solace, and instead succumb to feelings of powerlessness. During such trying times, our linguistic capabilities may fall short, preventing us from adequately expressing ourselves. However, I maintain that there comes a moment when we can reflect upon our past experiences and proudly assert ourselves. In the interpretation, the apostle was aiming to instill courage in the Christians who were enduring immense hardship, urging them not to be intimidated by their fellow human beings.
