If, in the context of the New Testament, Christ has established His dominion over all aspects of existence, then we, as saints, exist as heirs within His sovereign realm. The query arises as to whether He has granted us any tangible methods or mechanisms to guarantee our personal encounter with this reality. In the previous covenant, the sense of certainty was not derived from the saints' adherence to the ceremonial laws. Within the previous covenant, the saints faced a heavier burden due to the obligations imposed by the ceremonial laws. However, it is crucial to note that the application of the ceremonial law varied among individuals. The divine dispensation was tailored by God to align with individuals' societal standings. What constituted a transgression of the law for certain individuals did not hold the same weight for others. Consequently, it becomes unfeasible for us to definitively ascertain the culprits behind the national verdicts and subsequent exile. The concept of salvation has perpetually been delineated within the eternal, paternal association of God as a Father intertwined with His chosen ones.the physical indicators, such as circumcision, being born within the boundaries, and having a Jewish lineage, as well as the act of engaging in temple worship, held no significance in regards to the concept of God's selection. This can be observed in the sacred texts, where David, in his pursuit to honor God, dismisses any human connection or legal requirements by expressing his complete reliance on God alone. Rather than attributing his confidence to circumcision, obedience through sacrifices, or national identity, David essentially disregards the power of these earthly influences, deeming them as worthless, in order to elevate God as the ultimate judge of all humanity. In order to demonstrate his sincerity, David recognized the necessity of aligning salvation with the divine will of God, who governs from His everlasting throne. This serves as the foundational principle behind Davids profound sense of reassurance, as he eloquently employed the language derived from his firsthand encounters during warfare to depict God's discernment of the righteous and the wicked. Within this framework, Davids attained a heightened sense of assurance akin to ascending mountain peaks or descending into deep valleys. Assurance became intrinsically linked to Davids ability to discern whether a particular circumstance held the potential to bestow blessings or curses upon him.
