In order for individuals to attain blessings, it is imperative for them to possess humility and extend kindness towards the less fortunate segments of society, as this is how God bestows his grace. Through his rules, God promotes both security and freedom, emphasizing the importance of uplifting the vulnerable. Unfortunately, it is exceedingly challenging for humanity to adhere to these regulations that necessitate placing oneself beneath the most marginalized. Nevertheless, God has provided a solution for individuals to undergo personal growth and transformation, even if it goes against human nature.How can an individual receive the gift of divine grace without succumbing to excessive self-gratification? Does God, in His efforts to humble humanity, strip away their sense of security? Grace, as the benevolent nature of God bestowed without charge, prompts the inquiry of how He can simultaneously humble mankind solely through His benevolence. It is not merely enough for God to establish the framework for the enjoyment of His goodness; He must also triumph over the opposition by subjugating it beneath His authority. The Psalms vividly depict this concept, portraying God as beneath even the lowest points of existence. In other words, God has conquered the depths and repugnant aspects of society.How does He accomplish this feat? Does He articulate a representation of philanthropy? Is it driven by God's inherent desire to protect and support the vulnerable as a component of His governing authority? God's responsibilities extend beyond merely facilitating survival; He must empathize with the struggles of the most marginalized individuals and comprehend the challenges faced by the defenseless. Through redemption, God offers the solution by fully immersing Himself in the human experience, even approaching the boundaries of sin without succumbing to it. He manifests His presence in the most dire corners of society, effectively subjugating and triumphing over destruction on behalf of humanity.How can we gain knowledge of wrongdoing and yet overcome its consequences? As individuals who engage in sinful behavior, we contribute to the destruction around us. However, because of Christ's sacrifice, we are no longer bound by the consequences of our actions. We now have the power to reject and eliminate the negative effects of our past actions. Our identity is no longer solely shaped by our own choices, but rather by being created in the image of Christ. This alignment with Christ's image serves as a dividing line between negative consequences and blessings, erasing any lingering impact on our character. In experiencing the divine love and anger of God, we are exposed to a sense of mystery.
