As the Psalmist proclaims, each soul is bound by heavenly judgment, destined to tread a path towards eternal demise. The act of divine formation stands as a resplendent exhibition of God's virtuous essence and unparalleled prowess. Verbal expression was bestowed upon saints in a manner that would empower them to fathom and exalt the divine presence.Yet, humans are first incapable of comprehending the vastness of God's divine discourse, compelling Him to manifest Himself and His creations in a form more accessible to our limited understanding. Endowed with omniscient wisdom, God remains unburdened by any trace of hesitation or ambiguity. He stands as the sole sentient entity, embodying perfect harmony between thoughts, yearnings, and deeds. We find ourselves faced with the enigma of being, hindered by our finite understanding, mortal existence, and feeble might. This ambiguity stands as proof that our intellectual prowess has been consciously curtailed, likely by a celestial force, through the constraints of language. Whereas the divine possesses the aptitude to fully elucidate every facet of existence through an eternal lens, our reliance on the divine springs from our constrained linguistic faculties. At the heart of our inquiry lies the pondering of our capacity to grasp the depths of God's essence and our own existence. Should God, in His wisdom, unveil the intricate workings of creation, doubt would not perturb Him. Unlike our feeble selves, God solely possesses the truth of His being, while we, burdened by our limited nature, errant inclinations, and the weight of our mortal plight, wrestle with personal dilemmas. We face obstacles when trying to accurately portray the intricacies of reality, similar to how a divine being like God possesses boundless abilities. Our distress towards any kind of violent opposition stems from our unsettled uncertainty, arising from our inability to fully understand the unknown factors that surround our own existence and unique circumstances. In order to comprehend both God's essence and our own existence in the same way as God, it is crucial for us to transcend all limitations. God possesses a language that is detailed and comprehensive enough to precisely explain the logical justifications behind every aspect of reality. Since God has designed us to naturally rely on Him, it was of utmost importance for Him to effectively communicate His intentions in order to ensure that we would be appropriately rewarded for our growing dependence. However, the gift of freedom bestowed upon us by the divine is hindered by our limited understanding and expressive capabilities. This prompts the query of how we can aptly fulfill our role as enlightened rulers of the world, when we are bound by the restrictions imposed upon us by a higher authority. Moreover, if the divine has endowed us with the potential for sagacious governance, yet has also placed limitations on our dominion under His jurisdiction, comprehending how we can attain triumph in our rule becomes perplexing. Additionally, if the divine governs with boundless supremacy, it seems inequitable for Him to bestow rewards upon us when our power is intentionally curtailed. Nevertheless, the divine has bestowed upon us a glimpse of His vast lexicon, granting us the prospect of boundless liberation akin to His own. He has furnished us with a framework through which we can discern our authentic yearnings and effectively articulate them.Through various means, God has revealed Himself to humanity, using the law, covenants, meticulous regulations, curses, eternal decrees, and promises. His words hold authority, reminiscent of a victorious king's proclamations. These methods have given us the strength to conquer the daunting obstacles presented by sin, the curse, and our own limitations. The very foundation of existence lies in God's precise application of His law. Without the law, anything becomes devoid of worth or the potential to provoke offense. A world without law would lack any desirable qualities. In light of our limited comprehension, in contrast to God's omniscience, we wrestle with a sense of enigma. Nonetheless, God unveils fragments of this divine enigma through the proper observance of the law. God has fashioned us to experience freedom, reflecting His own liberty. Our failure to abide by the law stems from our imperfect grasp of God's righteousness.Does God, in His wisdom, place upon us burdens that bring harm, to compel us to seek solace in Him? If all things are bound by natural laws, can we truly fault God for our shortcomings, when our understanding falls short? It is an undeniable truth that God consistently and harmoniously interacts with us, adhering to the laws that govern relationships. Hence, it is reasonable to surmise that God would remove any obstacles, for He cannot act contrary to His own essence. In order for us to taste the same liberation as Him, He must align His desires with our genuine aspirations. Hence, God communicates with us through eternal pronouncements of law, covenants, afflictions, statutes, and more.
