This Psalm conveys the notion that when our aspirations align with God's intentions, we are granted access to an everlasting kingdom that transcends temporal limitations. Surprisingly, when our yearnings for earthly dominion are thwarted, it signifies our ineptitude in exerting personal agency to achieve fulfillment. Regrettably, this aspect of spiritual wisdom is often overlooked in the current era of practicality. The Psalms eloquently depict God's comprehensive involvement in orchestrating all circumstances towards His divine plan, serving as a testament to His inherent sanctity.The divine Trinity possesses an all-encompassing understanding of time, being able to observe all moments concurrently. Through adherence to His established laws and agreements, He consistently achieves His aspirations. The ruler asserts that despite facing obstacles in attaining his goals, there exists a particular aspect wherein previous desires are consistently redefined in the present, enabling an encounter with God's all-encompassing intentions as He defines His ultimate moral character. Previous emotions of anger or joy related to past events remain indelibly imprinted in His awareness.There exists a belief that God pardons our sins by metaphorically erasing them from historical record. There is a prevalent fascination with the concept of forgiveness, as if our ability to forget is what ultimately brings about healing. However, this notion can be deemed as imprudent. The reason being that individuals invariably retain memories of their past actions. To assert that we possess the capacity to completely forget what has transpired is disingenuous, as it implies that we are capable of engaging in behaviors that are beyond human nature. If those who claim to have received forgiveness through their pleas for clemency were truly honest, they would be compelled to remain silent for the remainder of their lives, as the law mandates capital punishment upon confession.What is the underlying cause of our inclination to simplify and modify biblical concepts in a manner that aligns with our own understanding and ability to control? It can be argued that our individual desires are shaped by our unique life experiences, and as such, we are entrusted by God with the duty to establish and maintain His flawless governance, which ultimately satisfies our desires.This Psalm provides guidance on the proper management of recurring desires from the past in the present. This principle has been a longstanding focus of my advocacy. It involves not disregarding or erasing these desires, but rather comprehending how we can effectively utilize them, whether they derive from experiences of injustice or reward, as incentives for attaining higher levels of success.The phenomenon discussed can be observed in the teachings of the Revelation, which assert that God collects our prayers in heaven and presents them before the altar, thereafter releasing them onto the earth in the form of fiery projectiles that represent judgement. Similarly, the Psalmist utilizes their past experiences of anger in a justified manner, in accordance with God's principles of governance, as a motivating factor to achieve liberation and victory in the present. This enduring perspective can be recognized in the way the Psalmist expresses dissatisfaction with their current afflictions.He incorporates his previous recollection of feelings of anger or joy in order to intensify his longing, as God, who perceives events from an eternal standpoint, observes them consistently. These events are perpetually present before God within this timeless vantage point. Our rewards are attained through utilizing both positive and negative desires to augment our fervor in conquering all forms of resistance, ultimately leading to the realization of God's salvation.
