The central aim of authentic Christian theology is not focused on fully comprehending the essential nature of God, but rather on understanding God's intentions and desires in relation to Christ, who incarnated as a human and sacrificed himself to reconcile our sins. Engaging in speculative discussions about the immeasurable power, wisdom, and greatness of God, particularly when burdened by feelings of guilt, can be highly precarious. These endeavors have the potential to create distance between individuals and God, as the overwhelming task of quantifying and comprehending God's boundless magnificence becomes insurmountable.According to the teachings of Paul in I Corinthians 1:23, 24, it is advised that we should strive for a spiritual connection with God. Paul encourages us to proclaim the message of Christ's crucifixion, recognizing that this may be perceived as a stumbling block for the Jews and as foolishness to the Greeks. However, for those who are chosen, irrespective of their Jewish or Greek heritage, Christ serves as a representation of God's power and wisdom. By starting with Christ, who descended to earth, lived among humanity, endured suffering, was crucified, and ultimately died, He presents Himself in a clear and tangible manner, allowing us to direct our hearts and attention towards Him. Consequently, this prevents us from engaging in a futile and unproductive pursuit to comprehend the essence of God through futile attempts to ascend to heaven. In the pursuit of comprehending the means of establishing a connection with God and the justification of sinners, it is crucial to acknowledge that Christ is the sole deity. Placing emphasis on accepting Him, rather than engaging in discussions concerning the essence of God, is of utmost importance. However, those who refuse to acknowledge our Mediator when seeking a connection with God do not subscribe to my assertions. Christ Himself declared that He is the exclusive path, the manifestation of truth, and the source of life, and that no one can approach the Father except through Him. Without Christ, any endeavor to reach the Father is futile, devoid of truth, and ultimately leading to eternal death. Engaging in debates regarding the nature of God without considering the matter of justification may facilitate profound contemplation. Christ presents an open invitation to individuals burdened by strenuous challenges and distress, offering them solace and reassurance in his ability to provide comfort. Through engaging in this practice, individuals will cultivate a deep comprehension and admiration for the immense power and grandeur that surpasses their personal circumstances. This notion is expounded upon by Paul in his communication to the Colossians, where he asserts that all wisdom and knowledge are concealed within Christ, and that the entirety of God's essence dwells within him in tangible form. Furthermore, Paul's inclusion of Christ in his invocation of grace and peace serves as a cautionary admonition to refrain from excessive speculation concerning the nature of God. Instead, it is imperative that we heed Christ's teachings, as he has been designated by the Father as our divine instructor.
