Erroneous perceptions of our transformed self can manifest in the form of spoken remarks from others and self-doubt that undermines our perception of this altered identity.The emphasis is placed on the idea that the desired outcome is deeply ingrained in us as the ultimate and perpetual reality. We strongly believe that the teachings of God's word encompass our aspirations for a transformed identity. Simply by adhering to these teachings, we achieve our desired goals. We do not view our newfound desires as equivalent to our previous desires. We do not perceive any internal conflicts within ourselves. We are not driven to demonstrate the goodness of our desires. We are not striving to cultivate humility in order to prove our lack of arrogance. The essence of the Christian identity resides in the presence of a new authority, which is embodied by Christ.Our purpose is not to overcome an internal adversary for the purpose of allowing Christ to assume power, but rather we already serve as the dwelling place of God who reigns supreme. Our desires are enduring as we are members of the inner realm of Christ, who embodies the divine essence manifested in Jesus Christ. Our being has undergone a profound transformation, rendering our desires invulnerable to obstruction. Conversely, the aspirations of the wicked are ultimately futile. Our conflict lies not primarily within our own desires, but rather with the opposition presented by the malign intentions of these pagans, who stand in opposition to our own aspirations.
