It is important to acknowledge that our dependence on divine mercy has resulted in our liberation from both wrongdoing and the obligations imposed by the law. However, it is intriguing to consider why we continue to engage in sinful behavior despite this freedom. Furthermore, if the death and resurrection of Christ have effectively addressed the consequences of sin, they have also dealt with the accompanying judgment. As someone who firmly believes that Christ has completely satisfied the punishment for sin, I often question the reasoning behind linking inner peace with expressing remorse for our wrongdoings. It has been a significant amount of time since I last felt remorse to the extent that it motivated me to abandon a sinful action.Previously, I held the conviction that feeling a deep sense of remorse for my misdeeds would motivate me to take proactive measures to address and rectify them. Nevertheless, as I developed a more profound comprehension through divine guidance, I started to distinguish between authentic transformative processes and superficial responses driven by malevolent influences. It became clear that the malevolent forces intended to manipulate my interpretation of divine disapproval pertaining to my transgressions.Since a young age, I was taught that in order to fully embody a devout Christian, it was necessary for me to continually focus on my wrongdoings and immerse myself in a profound sense of self-condemnation. This resulted in me resembling a spiritually intoxicated person, and after experiencing an extended period of suffering caused by remorse, I eventually emerged from this state with a persistent spiritual unease. The individual demonstrated a significant degree of pride and defiance. The negative aspect of pride stems from the fact that one can possess material possessions, a well-kept home, extravagant vehicles, and a loving family, while internally harboring feelings of inadequacy. This suggests that pride obstructs the transformative influence of divine intervention within our inner selves. Consequently, individuals live with the belief that they should avoid taking risks and instead adhere to a Christian lifestyle devoid of any aspirations that may challenge or broaden their faith. In this manner, Satan manipulates individuals through guilt and confession, hindering them from accomplishing significant acts for God. Nonetheless, it is crucial to acknowledge that God may not be as preoccupied with our transgressions as we tend to perceive.I have an understanding that there are remarkable blessings awaiting individuals that are beyond their capacity to comprehend. Furthermore, it is certain that unexpected events will occur in the future, leaving all of us astonished. These occurrences may not receive recognition from the rest of the world, as they may challenge one's faith and require unwavering determination. However, through these trials, our understanding of God becomes clearer than ever before. Alternatively, these events may involve significant tasks that lie ahead. Nevertheless, it is important to acknowledge that God orchestrates all events, even our difficult struggles with personal wrongdoings, for the ultimate purpose of His goodness. As a result, we can confidently state that if we ask Him for anything in His name, He will grant it, as He has completely removed our sins, separating them infinitely from us.The preceding verses (19, 20) communicate the notion that the sun and moon will cease to function as illuminating entities, as the Lord will assume the role of an eternal source of light and glory. The sun will no longer undergo a setting process, and the moon will remain unvanishing, as the Lord's everlasting light will eradicate the need for periods of mourning. Furthermore, the populace will collectively embody righteousness and possess an enduring inheritance of the land, symbolizing the Lord's act of creation and attainment. This is subsequently followed by the declaration, "that I might be glorified," which serves as a concluding statement underscoring the ultimate purpose and intention underlying these preceding occurrences.
