In light of His unrestricted prerogative, it follows that God's love is contingent upon His own volition and choices. Consequently, the Psalmist endeavors to convey the notion that God's decisions are not haphazard or dictated by external circumstances, but rather grounded in His impartiality, faithfulness, benevolence, compassion, forbearance, and tenderness. God is subject to the limitations and obligations that He has established, including regulations, agreements, imprecations, edicts, and commitments. Throughout Israel's historical narrative, God has actively intervened and directed events in order to cultivate a relationship with His saints that is firmly grounded in these pronouncements. By exemplifying His behavior in alignment with these established principles, God has granted authority to specific remnant whom He has chosen to exert control over the material world by employing and adhering to these principles. If God's intentions are genuine, then His love cannot be constrained by time. If God's love that lasts forever was simply an unclear and mysterious aspiration, then His love would solely be based on emotions. However, God's love that endures forever is exemplified through His deeds on behalf of His followers. In order for God to demonstrate His everlasting love, He must fulfill His promises. For God's chosen people to have faith in Him, He must align His actions with His revealed teachings. For God's chosen people to accomplish their purpose of governing over creation, they must adhere to the fundamental principles. If God did not have complete control over the actions of humans, we would not be able to have confidence in His words. If God was not capable of demonstrating unity in communicating His message, our trust in His intentions would diminish. Therefore, the Psalmist asserts that God has exhibited His unwavering love by overseeing all aspects of existence and enabling His selected saints to rule through His declarations. Consequently, the act of expressing the law, covenants, statutes, and comparable subjects becomes a comprehensive manifestation of appreciation and everlasting devotion.The author of the Psalm emphasizes the interconnectedness of worldly events and their correlation to fundamental pronouncements.
