As individuals who have faith, we are regarded as the offspring of God and therefore share in the inheritance with Christ Jesus. Through Him, we receive all that we need. Our previous position as individuals subject to judgment has been eradicated by His salvation. Previously, when we were bound by legal regulations, we lived in apprehension of their legal ramifications as the law served as our governing principle. However, we are now emancipated from the constraints of the law and instead live in accordance with the direction of the Spirit, as it is within the sphere of the Spirit that true liberation is discovered.In consideration of God's enduring plan, followers of Christ are afforded the liberty to observe the law, despite our inherent incapacity to fully comply with it. This liberty permits us to knowingly violate the law, confident in the understanding that we have been exempted from the apprehension of punishment, enabling us to willingly embrace submission once again. As we advance beyond our initial stages of spiritual development, when Scripture addresses us as children of God, it signifies our elevated position as sons and the associated privileges. Consequently, we are summoned to engage with one another as members of the same spiritual kinship, comparable to a harmonious sanctuary within our local community.The act of aligning oneself with the unity and purposes of God requires prioritizing them over personal desires and past actions. This change is attributed to the involvement of God, as saints effectively display their authentic selves. After experiencing rebirth, one's initial volition is eradicated and replaced with a new one that compels adherence to God's principles. Through the influence of God's Spirit, saints are able to aspire to perfect obedience to His commands, while simultaneously acknowledging their inherent imperfections and dependence on divine forgiveness.Within the realm of human nature, there exists a perpetual conflict between our inclinations towards virtuous and immoral actions. However, by means of Christ's salvation, our predicament with sin has been successfully resolved. Although we have yet to fully comprehend the extent of our entitlements as children of God, we possess a shared disposition with God in terms of our aspirations. We are not mere passive recipients of His instructions akin to naïve children; rather, our own volition has harmonized with His, resulting in a longing for what He desires. This synchronization bestows upon us the complete rights and privileges of being His offspring, ensuring that our innermost yearnings align with His. Even if these desires, which are aimed at magnifying His glory, occasionally waver in their potency and scope, He nonetheless bestows them upon us.In numerous cases, our desires may be relatively insignificant, similar to a tiny mustard seed; nevertheless, they possess the qualities of moral correctness as they conform to the ethical principles mandated by the law, deriving not from our innate moral goodness. This moral goodness conferred upon us originates from the attribution of Christ's moral goodness, a lawful proclamation of our moral goodness in the celestial tribunal.As saints who have been recognized as offspring of the divine, we are emancipated from the shackles of wrongdoing. This newfound liberation originates from our detachment from the legal framework, which formerly served as a guiding principle and authoritative figure for us, akin to a mentor guiding young pupils. Through his self-sacrifice on the crucifix, Christ has fulfilled all necessary actions and proclaimed them as accomplished. Consequently, he now governs both the Church and the nations through the teachings of the crucifixion. As emancipated children of God, we possess the complete entitlements and advantages of being his offspring, and consequently, we emerge as triumphant saints owing to the redeeming work he has undertaken on our behalf.
