An erroneous approach is taken when adopting a philosophy that attempts to reason from the framework of the system of reaping and sowing. This tendency is widespread within Christian culture, where individuals seek to demonstrate wisdom by distinguishing their own righteousness from that attributed to God. Consequently, there is a tendency to compartmentalize our lives into receiving just punishment while simultaneously advocating for God's sense of justice. While it may appear commendable to champion God's principles, even if it means punishing oneself, this approach is flawed. An issue arises in our endeavor to distinguish between our own righteousness and that of God, wherein we find ourselves in a state of lacking a solution. Can a Christian be considered both righteous and unrighteous simultaneously? The current discourse on grace appears to be characterized by a dichotomy of perspectives, with each side employing rhetoric to defend their respective stances. Is it advisable to adopt a comprehensive approach that acknowledges the validity of differing viewpoints, or should we strive to establish a unified doctrine, beginning at point A and proceeding to point B?
