The author of the Psalm is imparting the notion that the omnipotent power God exerted during the act of creation is apparent to those chosen by Him. This creative might is peacefully employed by God in the context of everlasting salvation. This robust strength serves as the bedrock for the benevolent basis of our ideal existence. Similar to how a shepherd tenderly carries a defenseless lamb, God benevolently acts in accordance with His creative principles to enable us to remain steadfast. It is imperative that we acknowledge the constructive function of the law peacefully implemented by God, who utilizes malevolence as an indispensable yet established foundation upon which we stand. When we unite, we are shielded from legal retribution. The influence of God over morality and ethics is instrumental in supporting us, not simply on an individual level but also in facilitating God's just exercise of authority against malevolent corruption and sin. Sin and justice are fundamentally incompatible and our conscientious adherence to pronouncements serves to protect us from the harmful repercussions of sin. The concepts of sin and eternal justice are as incompatible as oil and water. Our intelligent implementation of fundamental pronoucements of law, curses, decrees, statutes and promises acts as a safeguard against the penetration of the debilitating effects of the curse. The act of cursing is protected from the detrimental influence of corruption through our ability to resist it. The Psalmist asserts that our salvation lies in being carried by the divine, as we lack the inherent strength to combat the harmful perils of malevolence at birth.During our moments of utmost vulnerability to annihilation, he has declared the curse as the fundamental basis for our protection. Given our frequent encounters with perilous hazards, we must possess the ability to mercilessly eradicate any aggressive adversaries. In the absence of the law's curse, we would lack the capacity to neutralize the impending danger. The presence of sin poses a significant risk of destruction, which necessitates containment measures. In light of this, the Psalmist offers a prayer for divine retribution against pagans who have committed malicious deeds and deserve punishment. It should be noted that God does not act as a punitive judge, but rather as a defender of the righteous against the perils of violence. To this end, God establishes a secure foundation through the implementation of protective measures. It is essential to recognize that we are faced with an adversary that is relentless and cannot be evaded or overcome. The absence of an enduring curse would lead to the annihilation of civilized humanity by the merciless enemy. Therefore, God intervenes to prevent the wicked from mercilessly annihilating God's chosen ones. As a response to sin, God has imposed the pox on humanity, which causes individuals to suffer the consequences of their own desires. The curse of the law has been transformed into a means of facilitating and preventing certain actions.6Praise be to the LORD,for he has heard my cry for mercy.7The LORD is my strength and my shield;my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
