The author of the Psalm demonstrated a profound yearning for God and underscored the significance of God's word and the loving covenant it signifies. The author further acknowledged the role of affliction and sadness in fostering a closer relationship with God and experienced a blend of despondency and elation in the process. Ultimately, the Psalmist acknowledged their own vulnerability and the accompanying sorrow, yet persisted in their optimism and dedication to God's teachings. When the Psalmist directed his attention towards God through His word, he experienced an experience of joy. This joy was previously unattainable and was a result of his hunger for divine understanding. The purpose of this hunger is to lead us to seek God through our knowledge of Jesus Christ, but we are also encouraged to pursue Him beyond the text. Moses, for example, requested to see God's glory, even after being warned that no one can witness it and live. Moses' persistence serves as an example of how we should approach God with our pleas. It is through our knowledge of what to say and our ability to articulate our desperation using the words that He has given us that we can move Him.This artistic expression entails exploring ways to surpass our restricted comprehension of ourselves and establish a link with a superior authority. It necessitates surpassing earthly hindrances and pursuing a more intimate association with God. The notion of deriving pleasure from unraveling enigma is pivotal to this discipline. By xperiencing God's presence, we gain enhanced perception and sagacity, resulting in a more profound sense of joy and gratification. This approach involves delving into our innermost selves and fostering spiritual expansion. Simultaneously, we direct our attention towards the future, contemplating our desired outcomes and comprehending how we hope for divine blessings to enable us to surpass our own capabilities. We aspire to have faith in God's ability to provide for us despite the unseen nature of His workings. We desire an all-encompassing connection to the blessing that only God can bestow upon us. Without God's intervention, we would be without hope, and if He delays, we would be in a state of misery. Nonetheless, we must remain optimistic and trust that God will rectify all things in His own time. As sentient beings, we are directed by the blessings bestowed upon us by the Almighty. Nevertheless, we may encounter bewilderment due to the apparent absence of the Divine presence. However, we have also been endowed with the ability to avoid the hardships that accompany existence in an afflicted society. By discovering our spiritual path, we can perceive intangible aspects that elude our physical senses and receive divine grace. When we are unable to discern the workings of this our Creator, He intervenes to reinforce our faith and impart a feeling of completeness, thereby rendering the notion of time irrelevant.
