The advent of Christ through the incarnation resulted not only in His substitution for us but also in His acquisition of the ownership of all precious things. Consequently, upon our redemption, we gain access to a realm where we inherit all the possessions that Christ has obtained. The Psalms hold a greater significance than merely serving as a means for personal expression, as they have a worldwide impact. This is evidenced by the restoration of saints dominion over the earth through the universal proclamations of the eternal king, which demonstrate our worth to God. As God's representatives, we are entrusted with authority over the earth through these pronouncements, which are rooted in His faithfulness and righteousness, as exemplified by the phrase "come to my relief." The crucifixion serves as proof of God's steadfast love and faithfulness. In the eternal domain, the Father assumes the position of our legitimate adjudicator. He evaluates our transgressions with discretion, taking into account our deeds in the context of Christ's completed work.Although we are accountable for any ongoing misbehavior, we have a convincing argument that prevents us from reverting to a lifestyle of being controlled by sin. The question arises as to which party bears more responsibility in the eyes of the Judge: the person who acknowledges their own mistakes or the person who is represented by a Substitute who undergoes their punishment. It is apparent that the person who assumes the duty of making amends for all their wrongdoings is the one who is subjected to more rigorous examination.Upon entering this new realm, there exists no possibility of reverting to our former state of enslavement to sin. Our actions of sin are perceived by God and measured against those of the inhabitants of another kingdom, who are considered more reprehensible.143 3Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you."It is important to recognize that God is not treating us solely based on our sins. Despite our potential to sin more, we tend to prioritize our success in work, making our attempts to combat sin seem insignificant. The pagans in question display a lack of awareness towards the detrimental effects of their strong condemnation. In contrast, saints acknowledge their own shortcomings as "miscreants," while pagans are blinded by their moral righteousness and fail to recognize their own sins. Saints faith in God allows them to avoid succumbing to the curse of self-righteousness, and instead, denounce destructive behavior. As we continue to reject harmful actions, we become increasingly protected by divine intervention and less susceptible to pride. In the context of the given verse, we ask for God's love and protection against our enemies as His devoted servants.14312 In your unfailing love, silence my enemies; destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.
