This is what is so beneficial about being in God's family. We are totally accepted based on our identity in Christ and not where we have come from. God's view of us is not like other peoples view of us. We all have secrets. we avoid things that are too painful for us. we all have our breaking points. However, God doesn't push our buttons. He doesn't remind us of our weaknesses and sins that so easily take hold of us. Did you know that the more secrets we have the more God is available to help us be loved by Him as we open up to Him and roll all of our pain over to Him?He knows all of our sins, both the ones we try to hide and the ones we don't want anyone to know about. He uses this weakness to show us His secret room, where He changes us by empowering us in His time. We don't need to expose ourselves to others who don't understand. we are free from the get go. We have a highway of grace that leads directly to the throne of God.This is where He knows who we are and He is perfectly happy with our secrets. In free grace, we are free because He knows all of our secrets. He takes us just as we are and changes us so very slowly that we do not experience worry, threats, shame, guilt and sorrow, but He knows just what we need to feel accepted wort's and all. So don't let others make you feel less accepted because they do not accept free grace.Do not let others make you feel ashamed. Remember that even though evil men may threaten you and the self-righteous may tempt you, you will never be shaken. You are as free as the worst sinner who hides in the arms of a loving Father. The apparent hypocrisy that men want to expose is actually God's trophy of His love for you. Accept God's free grace and you will accept yourself just as you are.
