There is much confusion surrounding the distinction between an image of life and a mechanical process in how we determine our connection to original powers. We can reorder our minds to draw from created powers that keep us focused on the proper intention of real pleasure.I am referring to the basic trust we have in being able to experience pleasure. With all the artificial scientific advances we have made, we have watered down this natural communication between ourselves and the divine.All of this personal communication comes to us as an abstract representation of reality. So we are talking about a spiritual communication of opposing concepts in a direct way in this spiritual language. A simple example would be how we change our physical appearance through reconstructive surgery.We receive pleasure when we look older than we are because it allows us to entertain images of being younger. Even though we are facing the prospect of physical weakness as we age, we are still in control of how we see ourselves. This face-to-face relationship with our true selves is what allows us to understand God's purpose for us.The true communication of persons in the changes we experience in life is how the trust of salvation is made real to us in God communicating in our present need. This divine communication comes in the form of a small voice that is experienced outside of this scientific culture. God does not need man to intervene in this world in order to hear His personal counsel.In order to understand how our fundamental needs are met through our souls being satisfied with Gods personal promises, we must experience a process of "growing down" to find Him at the bottom, as the only voice of reason to meet our deep need. I do not mean that we are experiencing helplessness from being abandoned, but rather that we seek to kill the destruction that is opposing the clear communication of God in satisfying us through this personal language.In our culture, we are constantly bombarded with messages telling us that we need to buy this product or that we need to have this power in order to be happy and successful. However, through seeking a relationship with God, we learn how to remove the things that get in the way of hearing His voice clearly.
