The only man who is truly real is the one Man. All other men are only real inasmuch as they are determined by the one Man to have the end that he has. So, in this sense, anyone who identifies with the one Man sees all other men as imaginations of who they are in relation to the one Man. This is why the world is an illusion that is full of imaginary men. Because the only thing that matters is what the one Man has accomplished and what he has determined by what he has accomplished.Other men may view successful men as having achieved a certain level of success in comparison to them. However, in reality, any kind of success is put in comparison to the success of the one Man, Jesus Christ, and is found wanting. The only reality that we have in looking through this view of the one Man is that the only value that we have is how we know Him. The only success we understand is what He has done and what He is doing. So this one Man is that by which we judge success or destruction and failure.He blocks the path of all people, either they kneel to Him or they have a lot of challenges in their lives, which the bible refers to as the Rock. People usually think of success as a good thing, when really it's just digging your own grave.In other words, all men stand in relation to this one man, and what they perceive as success is sort of greasing the tracks of their entrance into hell. The bible does not give advice on how to control people in order to get to gain friends and have great success. The bible destroys men's ways and brings men under the subjection of this one Man by Him speaking just one word.
