It is crucial that we learn to find our confidence entirely in God's love. To attribute wickedness to God is to ascribe to Him something He does not do – it is to make Him into a small god who is subject to our circumstances, sin, failure, and pain. God loves us so that we will learn to trust in the best. We learn to think rightly about God's love, and then we will act righteously in our encouragement. God is not helpless and He is always able to communicate His love for us, even if we think there is a good reason He might think differently this one time. In response to the first sin, God provided a remedy. God allowed the wickedness of the world to continue until it reached a point where it was out of control, at which point He destroyed all mankind except for 8 people. He did this because He loves His people and didn't want them to be corrupted by sin. He then promised that He would no longer destroy the earth, but would instead shorten the lifespan of humans so that they wouldn't have the opportunity to develop sinfulness like they did before the flood. He did all of this out of love. God provides us with His word that He will always love us, no matter what. He promises to provide for us to keep us safe and to give us the strength to endure our trials. He gives us more than we deserve and He gives us reminders of His love again and again. He even tells us how to develop our understanding of His love.He teaches us to praise Him all day long, to bring Him all of our problems, trials and anger towards our enemies. He promises to take all of the negative experiences we have and to listen to our petitions and hear our anguish. He wants to hear even more. The more we bring Him in pain, the more He gives us gifts by His promises. He proves that He loves us by hearing our cries and taking them and answering them, even though He already knows what we need and He has taken care of it before the world began. Can you for a moment imagine what it would be like to be God? The God who knows every little detail in the universe from the beginning of time to the end of time all at once. He does what ever pleases Him and if He promises to love us and work for our good and do more than we could ask or think then why should we question His ability to do us good? Because we are just men. God proves it even though He is love.
