I used to think that taking action was necessary to get things done, but I now believe that our internal worship is actually more effective than that. It's like the reasoning that the apostles' writings are divided into doctrine and practice. But I think it's dangerous to talk as if we discuss these teachings in a dichotomous way. We should instead strive to unify truth as all people are looking to the ultimate act which is to glorify God. So even if we do anything with the wrong motive, our action is of little value. The gospel is more than just a one-time event or set of instructions to be followed blindly. It's a message of hope and restoration that can change our lives and relationships for the better. We can benefit from the gospel by applying its teachings to our lives constantly, even though it might not always be easy. The gospel is a message of peace and salvation that can restore our relationship with God and others. The gospel is the most beneficial message we can preach because it leads to a life of obedience and service rooted in love. There is no set amount of work or effort that will be profitable in and of itself; our goal is always to add to our righteousness, not subtract from it. The gospel is a spiritual message that comes from the heart, and it is the only way to change our attitudes and motivations concerning things and people. We don't divide between a psychological world and a spiritual world. The gospel is one message that not only teaches but also creates a world inside us. In this sense, we have a self reflection that is our psychological world and a spiritual world that is our spiritual world. The division of the psychological and spiritual reverses the gospel view. The Christian faith is all about trusting in Jesus Christ to set you free from the chaos of the world. We face a world that is constantly trying to tear us down, but through faith in Jesus we are able to overcome this. This is why we need to have a firm understanding of our faith, and never let it be shaken by the ever-changing world. The gospel is a message of hope, freedom, and deliverance, and we need to remember this always. We should try experiencing being shielded on all sides as we were being attacked by an army. This is a way to guard our hearts or interior world. It's not our attention of how we connect in the world, but it's what we experience in our own interior world that effects all our relationships to things and people.I get frustrated when people talk about salvation in terms of things that we don't like. This paints salvation as a process of self-denial, where we have to give up our own desires in order to be successful in our Christian walk. But we seldom hear about God's initial work of destroying our old self-will, which is necessary for us to truly belong to Him. I think this is because we mistakenly assume that we are self-sufficient and can resist temptation on our own. But God sees us as we really are, weak and sinful. He will help us to overcome our weaknesses, and thus become truly saved. There's nothing anyone can do to change the fact that the world is full of sin, but that doesn't mean we should give up hope. God's grace provides us with a way to protect ourselves from sin's destructive effects and to help us become more like God. We are defined by the reality that God's kingdom is living inside of us, and that's what grants us the power to overcome the chaos in the outside world.
