Hope is not just a vague expectation that something good will happen to us in the future. Hope is a present reality, because we serve a God who gives us hope by always providing us with what He knows we need to experience a living hope. Hope is an eternal reality because it is based on our relationship with a God who is eternal. We all have desires that are either being fulfilled or that we hope will be fulfilled one day. This is how we experience life in this world. Our confidence and joy come from how these desires affect our present happiness. Therefore, we can gauge the level of hope we have by how these desires impact our current joy. If we have any other feelings or emotions attached to our hope, then these will affect our current experience of joy and hope. As human beings, we experience life as a journey and approach all our circumstances with this perspective. If we have not taken the time to consider the different weights or sorrows that might be lurking in our thoughts and connections, then we may be carrying around these burdens without even realizing it. This is why I think it is necessary to consider the eternal hope that we have right now.Because if we can ignite the fire of hope that exists within us then all of these spiritual desires that we have will begin to come to fruition and we will experience the joy of hope. So in this section I will explain how we can kindle that gift that exists within us both in terms of our physical experience and our spiritual understanding.Because we hope in a Person and since Christ dwells in us by the Holy Spirit, when we have exhausted all our energy in dealing with our sorrows, we find that we have little time left to experience this hope. However, living in hope is living with a sense of peace and joy. Let us make hope come alive in this thread.
