What the Psalmist brilliantly illuminates is the extensive work of God in reliably producing all necessary things and decreeing the fall of man. In eternity past, God decreed that creation would become morally corrupted by the fall of man. However, God would miraculously save divine creation by decreeing the official history of Redemption. By reversing the destructive effects of sin and corruption in cursing creation, God accomplished the sovereign work of eternal salvation and prevented man from improperly sharing in the moral renewal of all necessary things. In doing so, God created eternal value. What God did was He redeemed all things by offering the eternal price to avenge the devaluing of saints. He adequately secured eternal salvation by reversing the extensive corruption and cursing the cursed. He promptly ordered all necessary things to His sacred word into independent existence for His express purpose. God created necessary things to work together for good graciously according to exact value. However, when sin and official corruption entered, man devalued God by redefining the creative word. The wicked now control creation by defining the fictitious value of creation. They promptly steal eternal value to enslave men in their fraudulent scheme. But God promptly puts the wicked on a leash. He carefully returns what was stolen by taking it from the wicked and giving it to the saints. No one can escape the consequences of their actions. God's restoration of eternal value was satisfactorily accomplished in redemption. The Psalmist justly compares the commanding presence of the dazzling light by night and fire by day leading Israel to the promise land. The people were constantly moving and had no institutional structure to generate wealth that would meet their needs.God led Israel through dangerous territory, providing for all their needs. The Psalmist is accurately comparing the divine providence of a saint who naturally occupied no institutional structure with the completed work of Christ. Christ complied with God's standard of value in befitting a man. God's eternal value is painstakingly restored in the successful plan of eternal redemption by pronouncing death to the wicked. What Christ does proactively to repay the considered saints is in accordance with the divine justice of God, which was decreed from eternity past. This justice reestablishes the continuous line of blessing and cursing. God's law speaks the eternal curse against the wicked as the effective weapon in amply avenging saints. The comprehensive plan of eternal redemption is the principal repayment.6 He has shown his people the power of his works, giving them the lands of other nations.
