The question from our side is how can God be good, faithful, kind, and loving in the face of someone who falls short of His standard at all times and is too weak to praise God and enjoy Him as He is pleased to bring all things into existence according to His standard of goodness and pleasure? How can God endure the presence of a sinner? Let alone a sinner who is distant? First, we must remember that God is always good, faithful, kind, and loving. This means that even when someone falls short of His standard, God still loves them. In fact, He loves them so much that He will forgive them and bring them back into His good graces. In light of these questions, we must ask how God can love someone who falls short of His standard and is too weak to praise Him and enjoy Him as He is pleased to bring all things into existence according to His standard of goodness and pleasure. Moreover, how can God endure the presence of a sinner? Let alone a sinner who is distant? These are all complex questions that require much contemplation. However, we can begin to answer some of these questions by looking at how God can love someone who falls short of His standard. And yet we stand before God and realize that we deserve nothing. But He has promised that He will listen to us as a Father listens to his child. God looks on us as creatures of dust. How can God accept and pursue sinners who are at their worst? Because God has abundant pardon and forgiveness. He has unfailing love and gives full acceptance. Because He has covenanted with His people to treat them as His own, He has proved it by doing the work necessary for sinners to be accepted in His presence. He has not only intended to provide a remedy, but He has desired that we sinners receive something that is far greater than we could ever imagine. You see, God has not only set the highest standard of rewards, but He has desired to be treated with His way of rewarding Himself. He has proven it by swearing to His own hurt if He does not uphold His side of the promises. This is why we are free as sinners to express our desires before God. We experience God lowering Himself to our level and treating us as equal when we do this. He goes through what we are going through in a way that shows us He understands our experience.Although God is aware of the difficulties we face, He has also promised to be our advocate, forgetting our weaknesses and sins and instead presenting us to the world as blameless and fully accepted. We have a God who provides us with everything we need, heals all our diseases, and supports and carries us through our worst struggles. He has set the bar so low that He sees us as too weak to unburden ourselves of the sins that are piled up on our heads, but in His way of keeping us according to His own name, He has provided a greater mercy for greater and more sins. We have full freedom to come before God as we are and be as transparent as we possibly can, but we feel the acceptance as if we had never sinned. This is the standard of treatment that we receive in our relationship with God.
