I am simply offering another view of the sovereign grace of God, which has the power to turn the world upside down. This is something that we have a hard time understanding. We want God to use enough force to keep us from taking advantage of the free gifts that he offers. But we need to remember that God's initial gift of salvation put us into a perfect order and made us totally acceptable before we began our new life.Not only did He give us gifts that we could never imagine, but He also set certain boundaries to prevent us from straying too far from His grace. He gave us the ability to feel accepted in His family, but made it impossible for us to claim that what we do is apart from His gift of grace. Now, this is our problem because we are totally safe and secure with all the ability to trust God, but we still have the temptation to make it harder than it really is. Because God does things that are backwards. He makes our lives more valuable by increasing His gifts so that we are exalted by what He does to us, rather than by how we look to others or what we have accomplished. Many people believe that God provides everything we need to get started in life, but it is up to us to use those resources to our best ability. However, not only does God give us the ability to achieve great things, but He also provides the success necessary to make it impossible for us not to eventually be filled with the value of His gift. Because God has pre-ordained our perfect image, we are constantly evolving and changing for the better.
