Imagine standing as one of the wise men in the inn where Christ lay in the manger. First, it is glorious to reasonably think that God actually in time and space entered mortal flesh. What He was as a babe was obtaining the glory of God. The baby was upholding you standing there examining Him. While you are there thinking about the awesomeness of His glory, He is scrutinizing what your thinking before you think it.He was lying there, completely under the will of the Father and enjoying the fruits of fellowship. He was ordering all things according to His glory from that manger. What a sacred mystery! What ineffable glory! The eternal God was right in front of you, yet divine glory was veiled. Merry Christmas!
