Grace does not make us docile creatures that can be easily controlled. Instead, it gives us the strength to resist and stand up for ourselves. This thing, our sin, conceals us from the world; we're not evil, just misunderstood. The power of grace is absolute, able to crush any opposition and pronounce just laws and curses. Since the law is no longer our school teacher, it is directed towards the wicked. We begin with the law of the curse. It's impossible for someone who lives in a corrupt environment to remain untainted by it. We mistakenly take on part of the responsibility of the world. The works that we do are good because Christ went before us and chose our excellent autonomies faultlessly. God is always just in His legal demands, and we should aspire to be ethical in our actions. A person who is very religious and innocent defends God. The Psalmist teaches us that God deals with us based on our current situation. He pays attention to all sins and curses all who are wicked and deserving of punishment. The hard working part of a conscientious and fair society is often overlooked by God. We curse those who have brought political death, even though we know they are not entirely to blame. We speak freely, knowing that we too are culpable. We do this because we believe that they, at least partially, hold responsibility for the events that have transpired. God has given us the ability to tell right from wrong, so that we can stay away from sin. We must not be naive in our brutal execution of aggression and destruction. The ability to see sin for what it is gives someone the ability to see the world more clearly and to manipulate it to their own ends. The law is a tool that we use to control other people and make them do what we want them to do. We cannot be a good example to others unless we are better than the average person and deserve their help. Those who faithfully represent God cannot accurately describe Him as being affectionate towards Himself. The teacher cannot say that I am completely corrupt in that position. A well-rounded person understands the deep interconnectedness of all of God's creations and sees God in everything. The goal of our salvation is infinite and everlasting, since Christ paid the eternal price demanded by the law. Christ's miraculous work in healing and restoring people to health is in accordance with the divine law. We each have the right to pursue happiness in our own way.
