The Lord was delighted to take in all the beautiful sights around Him. He is the one who guides us up the spiritual path, always keeping us safe. As the God of Israel delivered his people from Egypt, He provided guidance along the way by a visible cloud. Throughout the long and arduous journey, God always kept His people safe by providing them with food. The clouds were a beautiful reminder of God's authority over the divine ascent. At all proper times, God is directly commanding the complicated movements of all created things. God is clearly working things out perfectly as He creates and preserves things in a way that is meaningful and purposeful. In Acts, the apostle prophesied that we breathe and actuate and cherish our fortunate relationship with God. God not only takes advantage of the things of the upswing, but He also keeps us together. We breathe because God is always with us, sustaining us and miraculously saving us time and time again. The Psalmist is imagining what it must have been like when God led them by the cloud. He miraculously kept them safe from the scorching heat of the desert sun and also cared for them during their stay, by shielding them from the light of the moon while they slept. This is a painting of the divine incarnation of Christ, who came to be a man and followed faithfully in the footsteps of his Father. He was perfect in every way, and his presence was utterly breathtaking. As God led ancient Israel through hostile territory to the land of their promised destiny, so Christ took care of us in a way that made up for all our sinfulness. Christ's love and care for us was such that it made up for all our past wrongs. He completely made up for our past mistakes, and we were finally able to connect with the Father. All the hard work we do is pleasing to the Father because Christ went before us and did what we could not. We are fully equipped for all purposes, and even failures are forgiven gracefully because we are unconditionally accepted in Christ.
