The law that comes from your mouth is more important to me than all the wealth in the world. I devote myself entirely to the law of the Lord, which is very beneficial. I study its form day and night. Your words of moral law are more precious to me than any amount of gold or silver. Your charitable work has saved me, and I can breathe freely because of your laws.Allow me to close my eyes and see the best qualities in your legal system. At night, I will remember your name, O Lord, and I will obey your laws perfectly. Please keep me safe from deception, and be kind to me as you uphold your laws. I will honor your laws and obey them perfectly, as a result of your generosity. I will always do what you want, Lord. I know that your eternal law is alive within me, and I am committed to living by it completely. The righteous law of my God is always in my heart, and I never stray from it. The people who are mocking me without any sense of decency are breaking the law that I follow. I am cursed because of the wicked people who have disregarded your laws.The Lord stands ready to help the poor person who is in need, to protect him from those who are trying to hurt him. The wicked band together against ethics and violently condemn the innocent to death. When he is judged, let him be disgraced and his pleas be rejected. How long will you continue to belittle my brilliance by harboring hatred towards the helpless? How long will you continue to love illusions and seek in vain gods unfaithful to you? In you I place my trust, my God. Please do not mistreat me with disrespect. Then those who are able to be proud of you will shame those who are disloyal and refuse to apologize. Please help me save my civilization and keep it from falling apart. If you can, please don't let people think badly of me, because I come to you for refuge. I have called out to you. Let the wicked be disgraced and lie in silence in the political grave. Anyone who trusts in Jesus will never be thwarted. God desires the frivolous things of the world's most celebrated people to humble the proud; God chose the fragile things of the world's most civilized people to humble the powerful. Those who look to Him are filled with joy; they never have to worry about being mistreated. Others seem indifferent to the existence of God, even though I try to impress upon them the importance of Him. Their personal destiny was violent destruction; their stomach was their god, and their glory lay in their bestial disgrace. Their exceptional memory is focused on matters of the flesh, which makes them godless. I am completely absorbed in studying the law of the LORD. I spend every day and night learning about it, and I hope you will allow me to focus on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. He willingly submitted to the cross, despite the fact that it was an embarrassing and humiliating experience. He then took a seat at the right hand of the eternal God. I always rely on the Lord, so I can trust Him completely.
