God's ways are always reliable-the sacred word of the LORD is flawless. He is a guardian who stands up for those who rely on him, always fighting for their protection. All his decrees are before me. I have not turned my back on them. The Lord has given me the privilege of guiding many different cultures, as a result of my righteous actions. People I had no prior connection to suddenly became subject to my authority. As soon as they attended me, I could see that they were paying attention to me; foreigners usually bow down to me. The word of the LORD is trustworthy and true; he always does what is right. By the power of the Lord, the sky was created. This celestial assembly was created by the breath of his mouth. He who has the power to change hearts, who takes into account all of the things that people do. The Lord remembered the agreement he made with the Israelites for a thousand generations and the word he entrusted to them for all that would come to pass. The agreement word of the LORD was a powerful demonstration of his power.The Lord proclaimed his victory with great fanfare, and the crowd of those who announced it could feel the power of God at work. The light of his brilliance shone down on Israel, and they knew that his power was in the blessings he had promised them. Until he saw the signs that confirmed his prediction were coming true, the Lord kept proving him right. He remembers the oath he made with his prophets, the promise he made to always protect it for a thousand generations. The people who had the privilege of living near Moses were astounded by his amazing abilities. They were struck by his amazing strength and agility, and they believed he was a prophet. He descended the mountain, trailed by the swarm of flies.The Lord spoke and a swarm of locusts descended. He remembered his promise to his faithful servant Abraham, and so he acted to fulfill it. He led his people out in a procession of celebration, cheered on by the grateful cries of his chosen ones.
