Ps 55 20 My companion attacks his friends; he violates his covenant.21 His speech is smooth as butter, yet war is in his heart; his words are more soothing than oil, yet they are drawn swords.22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. This psalm eloquently describes how the chosen are secretly connected to one another. We all agreed on our eternal salvation in the same words of eternal agreement. Salvation is a covenant we make with God in which we always satisfy His terms - no matter how great the mass of God's love is - but never exceed them without flaw from our part. Being true to God's eternal covenant is an important thing. In fact, God has ended the wicked curse in the death of Christ. This is very important when it comes to being authentic. We no longer have to suffer the consequences of our own conscience, disdain, actual anguish, and fear. But in this Psalm, the author paints the Christian as being in an analogous position to a soldier who is supporting his partner in battle. The Christian is subject to the agreement admission, just as the soldier is subject to his partner. This is a pact of death: We all share in the end of our old self. We are more committed to dying to our old self than following the agreement requirements. However, we gladly participate in the new life, but if we dead spiritually, we are subject to eternal death. "Death will catch my enemies off guard, and they will die with their own blood. But I will call on God and the Lord to help me." You cannot cling to both sides at the same time. This is what we face when we try to stand up to this challenge. Evil people try to deceive us with false information. We are constantly in danger from direct dangers and serious violence. Bold people get confused by details because they are more in touch with their intuition. We are constantly encouraged to embrace and support those who fight against us. When people think we're unreliable, we come across as weak. This is why the Psalms are so full of prayers where people express their concerns and ask God to help them better understand one another. He implored God to unleash His wrath on those who had caused the terrified sheep great distress. You will create a leader who is devoted to tending the flock and promoting eternal peace for the people he is responsible for. He will energetically promote this goal. I have spoken this Psalm for thirty-years, and I cannot recommend it to anyone without understanding the obligations it carries for a leader. I need to know that you'll always be there for me, and that I can count on you. I am using my spiritual persuasion to try to help them.I am spending a lot of time trying to help the students through these thoughtful appeals. Christians often get involved in helping to make decisions when they feel called to do something.
