Jn 15 23"He who hates me hates my Father as well. If I had not done among them what no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet they have hated both my Father and me. But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: 'They hated me without reason.Ps 69 4 Those who hate me without reason outnumber the hairs of my head; many are my enemies without cause," We are normally taught, Jesus came to the earth in the incarnation to amply atone for our sin. But Jesus also come to adequately fulfill the moral law. We are instructed that Jesus was hated when He was on the earth. As a result, if Jesus was hated then, we are suffering the same hate. But if you study the parallel passage of "They hated me without reason" he is not teaching He endured hate. When Jesus came to faithfully fulfill the eternal law He voluntarily comply with it in everything He spoke. He had to peacefully exercise His superior authority of the law by carefully correcting the extensive abuses as He walked the earth. When Jesus advised the people He was manipulating the law in pronouncing the blessing and cursing. The Psalmist purpose in complaints about the fierce hate of his active opposition was to overcome them in pronouncing. 22May the table set before them become a snare; may it become retribution and a trap. May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever. Pour out your wrath on them; let your fierce anger overtake them. May their place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in their tents." Christ fulfilled the law by cursing the wicked rulers. Christ faithfully obeyed the Father by properly speaking the eternal law, covenants, curses, enabling statutes, promises and divine decrees. He pronounced the abundant blessing in the Sermon on the Mount, cursing the Religious leaders, decreeing healing the sick and dumb, and the fulfilled promises at the confirmed death of Lazarus. Christ befall the exclusive man who spoke the authoritative pronouncements faithfully implementing them perfectly in every complex situation. The hate Christ confronted undoubtedly constitutes not the similar reason we are universally despised. Christ undoubtedly had to confront the fierce hate that rose to the belligerent power exercised by the Devil to cruelly destroy His soul. He had to become the curse for us, so we would not be ruined by the Devil. This is why the Psalms pronounce the curse to comfortably establish Gods gracious gifts of joy, genuine kindness, divine love and sincere sorrow, anger pain and historical loss. He reversed the wicked curse of heartfelt sorrow, continuous pain, considerable loss, so we could thrust it under our feet in the authoritative pronouncements. Hence, the extraordinary kindness cannot be intentionally altered to embellishment, and self-destructive hate. Satan no longer can implement our moral corruption to ruthlessly destroy our soul and body. The historic trials we resolutely face are conquered when Christ willingly became a curse for us. Therefore, we can push the wicked curse under our feet.
