The Psalmist has positively declared that God entered the battle in which he was in danger of forfeiting his life. He is advising us the victor in the battle is always determined by the Lord. But he also is advising we must learn to be good fighters. We do not naturally compare our daily struggles with the struggles in war. We are constantly seeking the specific answers in social interaction, pragmatic solutions, and merely following the bureaucratic process. It is effortless for us to forcibly separate our ordinary lives and inevitably facing troubles without spiritual opposition. You will belatedly discover when exposed people merely describe their daily schedule they talk foolishly like it is in a separate room from their spiritual devotion. But the Christian world view is never comfortable with our innate desires. This is why the bible carefully compares our daily routine to the logical extremes of successful war. You see we must undoubtedly learn that the ordinary events we vicariously experience are adequately described in the bible with potential dangers that ordinarily require divine illumination from moral discipline in the operative word and through the Spirit. In a secular world our informed decisions are merely forced through the pervasive culture of emotional process and political pragmatism. But in the Christian world we are profitably growing in an ongoing salvation. Our Christian goals are considerably higher than the modern secularism in the violent culture of the wicked world. We are in specific need of being uniquely identified with Christ in His death and glorious resurrection to be miraculously saved. We presently are in a creative process of being renewed. The controlling stakes are considerably more significant. We are diligently seeking uncommon freedom in this wicked world. The political culture with its modern secularism is in cruel bondage to their perverse desires. The Psalmist is carefully teaching our appropriate discipline of private meditation, and brilliant illumination is like a gallant soldier adamantly opposing the imminent threat with eternal death in possible war.In this effective way all of our social relationships and the events rise to a life and death level. The guiding principle inculcated in the verses above is that because God has eliminated all violent opposition at the cross, we genuinely enjoy ongoing deliverance as we seek to eliminate all of the political opposition. In the Psalms any organized opposition that is considered evil we wrestle with pronounce the extraordinary gifts must oppose through fore thought. Some enslaved people are merely captured or under the crushing weight of political evil that God does not oppose. This is why it is impossible for us to know exactly where the violent opposition is most fierce in our daily struggles. We scarcely read political motives. But we are terribly dependent upon divine illumination to be vigilant against the elaborate schemes of the devil. There are three sufficient guards that we properly implement to adamantly oppose evil. One is correctly identifying the person with forethought in opposing us, and another is being aware of the person who is under the political weight of something, and the other is learning to craft a plan to forge unity and overcome the opposition. But the specific purpose of pronouncing the extraordinary gifts is to studiously avoid or faithfully recreate the future so that we are completely unified. There is no formidable opposition.
