There are millions of men who have legitimate complains about this violent world but few men who walk away from their very extreme confrontation with God and know they will receive what other men never sought. Very few men.
God loves weak men who are always driven to extreme Psalms. He likes the guys who wait years for specific request. Men who train hours a day for a 3 hour event. God wants sold out face to face professionals.
Every body wants men to be men. But when you describe Gods man to man, they accuse you of being harsh. Truth is Gods men are always never fit the mold. The Psalmist was a mess turned supernatural on a dime.
35 4 "May those who seek my life be humiliated and humiliated; may those who plot to destroy me be dismayed." When the apostle says that God alone is entitled to divine vengeance, the Psalmist says that he cannot defend himself without saying that God's eternal curse is just. If God speaks through the Bible, then God has promised to defend the saints.
I want the people who want to hurt me to feel bad and to be embarrassed. If the apostle teaches divine vengeance rightfully belongs to God alone, then why do the Psalmist speak eternal curses to defend himself? If all scripture is God breathed, and if God has promised to defend the saints, then that means that God revealed the way to argue in our defense.
If someone tries to convince me they are worthy of a job, they take responsibility of proving themselves capable. You need to understand. God is like someone who is trying to get a job. God likes to be convinced.
When someone says we are going to have a face to face talk, what do you reasonably conclude? He wants to be sufficiently convinced to voluntarily give you what you humbly ask for.
You need to learn and understand. God tests us to see if we are worthy to work for Him. God likes to be convinced. He does not come near to us. He talks to us when we are right in front of him. Why can you reasonably draw a conclusion when someone says that we will immediately engage in a personal conversation? He wants to be sure he wants to do this before he gives you what you are asking for.
The Psalmist is the most powerful when he "aint got no where to go." The Psalms are for the needy and the aggressive, the uncomfortable and the emotional. God is a friend who exposes us to be transparent before Him.
You don't know Gods freedom tested by the curse of death. Driven to destroy your creations. Drawn to love that hates anything else. So focused on God your frustrated. Your driven by God.
God is like a man. He has a real relationship analogous to this world. The Psalms show God is personally drawn to us and finds us interesting. He gave us what He likes to hear in the Psalms. These pronouncements will draw Him to our position.
He likes arguments from people who are successful. If God created all things by the most effective speech, would not God be entertained with excellent arguments? We are preparing for a battle, but the battle is going to happen whether we want it to or not. Our request is very important and it's urgent. The psalmist speaks in terms of eternal life and death because he meets God who will be sincerely convinced.
He enjoys being friends with people who are really good at arguing for themselves. If God created everything by speaking, wouldn't he be entertained with good arguments?
While other men complain how hard life is, we are living in the presence of God who speaks and all necessary things are put in place. We absolutely need to make an urgent request.
The Psalmist spoke in terms of eternal life and death because he encountered God who would be sincerely convinced.
35 4 May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame;may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay." God is analogous in the same way that we show that we are worthy of being hired. God loves to be convinced. He does not approach us from a distance. It is intimately linked to our face to face. What do you reasonably conclude when someone says we're having a face-to-face conversation? He wants to be convinced enough to willingly give you what you humbly ask for. The key question what do you want? If you were in cruel slavery to other wicked men, how far could you afford to get away? Are you sick of being treated unfairly like a personal slave? Do you inevitably suffer life by reluctantly accepting political circumstances as they present themselves or by pronouncing them correctly and sensibly while arguing in extreme words that you sincerely want to have direct control? You undoubtedly need God to faithfully recreate everything in your life. God will not naturally answer all of your reasonable requests because you are simply asking. He sincerely appreciates good friends for credibly supporting their tremendous success. If God produced all things from the most effective speech, would He not be entertained with excellent arguments? While other men complain about the harshness of life, we come face to face with God speaking and all the necessary things are put in place.Absolutely, it is the life and pressure of death that we present an urgent request.
