2 I have sworn to David my servant,4 'I will establish your line forever and make your throne firm through all generations." Saints have the kings pronouncements as David. All generations.
Salvation is always a clear teaching. It is never simply a message to pass on. It is a message given to prove Gods work in Himself. The bible does not teach a salvation proved by man.
People say we need to make the message simple. We need to give people the message. We need to make it practical. The truth is all we need is to tell people what the bible says. The bible does not need us to make it anything.
Men will always swear to their death they are right. If they did not they would show no natural ability. The problem is what we do not know makes us dead wrong. That is normal for a man to be confident when he is dead wrong.
Ive had a contentious dialogue with teachers, and students over the curses. They will never acknowledge the word curse. They are the ones who are in this for other motives. And they dont teach the word. They teach their system.
Ps 89 2 3"I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself. 3 You said, "I have made a covenant with my chosen one,I have sworn to David my servant,4 'I will establish your line forever. and make your throne firm through all generations." The Psalmist is teaching Gods covenants are tied together. The covenant to Abraham comprises a family as the numbers of the stars. The question what constitutes the foundation of the covenant? Is it the saints faithfulness? Moses was the sole prophet who steadfastly maintained a genuine dialogue with God. When God passed before Him, Ex. 34 "The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in loving kindness and truth; who keeps loving kindness for thousands". The Psalmist pronounces this key phrase of covenant faithfulness of God. But how can we be sure God will satisfactorily accomplish His unfailing love? The eternal covenant naturally requires our side. But the Psalmist carefully teaches eternal salvation is in God alone according to sufficiently clear direct communication He has satisfactorily accomplished our eternal salvation, made us complete. Salvation remains God promises of compassion, love and grace against the curse. We are staunchly defended in the authoritative pronouncements of moral law, covenants, curses, eternal decrees, enabling statutes and promises. God swears to tell the truth to His own hurt to be gracious by fiercely defending us with the authoritative pronouncements. God no longer deals with us according to our sin. Salvation is hitherto developed us complete. We are undoubtedly becoming who we hitherto are.
