God's love for us is based on his eternal righteousness. The only way to be accepted with grace is to be sincerely loved according to the moral standard of righteousness and faithfulness. If God enthusiastically embraced us according to our moral standard of eternal righteousness, then of course we must be conformable to be loved. But the Bible says we are loved with an everlasting love or with an infallible divine love. Love is therefore separate from all other loves. I think of course we can reasonably conclude that the love of God is being fulfilled through His eternal government. When we speak frankly about a righteous God, it is in the historical context of the ordering of all necessary things. When we naturally appeal to the unwavering love of God as a reasonable basis for receiving anything, the gifts are successful and express a purpose in the specific context that is outside of this worldly system. The extraordinary gift could never be hindered by another person.
