God is so violent in the Psalms, it is stunning.  The infinite violence of God will be infinitely satisfied. Every day, God is on His throne receiving millions of criminals and dragging them to eternal punishment by the avenging angels. Never ending.

God is waging war with the forces of evil.  God watches every thought as a potential threat that might attack His eternal kingdom. The plan of God is to save people from their sins.  Moral axioms are defended by statements about life and death.
