31 18 "Let their lying lips remain silent, because they speak arrogantly to the righteous with pride and contempt." The poet correctly compared a simple citizen with the historical gift of a legitimate king, who was The saint under consideration speaks with independent judgment.
People who speak bad about the righteous should be quiet.
A king can decide that someone's life is in danger and have them executed. How dare the wicked threaten the righteous? "They speak arrogantly to the righteous." The bible says that God punished people who sin in this way.
A king can pronounce someone's death at any appropriate time. A wicked man was threatening a righteous man. God wrote or spoke about the punishment of the sin in the Psalms, which was recognized by the saints.
If you hear someone threatening you no matter the circumstance, just tell God to send them to hell now. God has already taken vengeance on every word. But he gave these pronouncement's to us.
The most dangerous behavior in this world is not actual war. It is threatening a saint.
If a saint hears someone threatening Gods people, and he does not respond, you cant trust him to respond to abuse.
31 18 “Let their lying lips be silent, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous.” The psalmist rightly compares a simple citizen to the historical gifts of a legitimate king who speaks with independent judgment to the saint considered. A king can pronounce imminent death at any appropriate time. How dare a wicked man seriously threaten a righteous man? "they speak arrogantly against the righteous". God willfully pronounced the punishable offense in the Psalms through the recognized saints. To speak contemptuously with a violent motive in the imperative presence of the saint is to sincerely want to be cursed by God. God has uttered eternal curses against all violent opposition with the primary motive of eternal vengeance. The considered saints undoubtedly have these eternal curses. There are no plausible excuses for being weak as saints.
