The divine mission to the world first begins with battling against the elaborate schemes of the clever devil. Christ abundantly satisfied the eternal law, ruined the destructive works of Satan.

 To inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples.  The Psalmist is drawing a distinction between God's law and God's gospel.  The first step in the divine mission to the world is to fight against the schemes of the devil.

The reason a nation falls into depravity is because good people turn their heads to abuse. We use pragmatism to protect ourselves at the expense of the abused.

Jesus taught the gospel is a message that addresses more than the spiritual needs. It includes taking care of the physical.

The devil has taken the spoils rightly belonging to Christ. You cannot be holistic without taking them back. The Psalms are extremely violent pronounced curses to protect from passively accepting a weakness of idolatry.

The gospel was given with certain and eternal promises and never contradicted. 

Jesus taught we are in a vice of the wicked world. We must take the kingdom by force. Speaking of warring with His whole gospel. This world is not all together foreign. The world is borrowing Gods gifts and acting violently.

The gospel is God's decrees about the destruction of the strongholds of evil.  the pagans are under the control of the curses, which are pronounced.  The gospel is more than just a moral message. 

Suffering from sloth and weakness is not Gods fault. Like telling God, I cannot fight today because I sinned last night. When you win the war then you can claim your suffering for other reasons.

God provided a salvation that turned our problems from the inside to the outside. But we hear teaching all the time that keeps us focused on phantom enemies of the inside. Satan does not want us to engage in real battles with wicked men.

 Salvation is personal when we suffer the worlds offenses, real when we face wicked men, and successful when we overcome all opposition. The power of sin is not mystical. It is what we face in relating to the wicked.

 If the message of the Bible is that the world is filled with sin and people are living in terrible conditions, then if we change the message to say that people endure sin, then people will not be motivated to fight the terrible conditions.

We are all in a military sleeping in a barracks. If the commander calls us to take up our arms but we say we are not worthy we end up in a much worse condition. It is why we have not time to self examine. Win the battle first.

The Christian does not live in an hidden, spiritual kingdom.  We are not fighting against unseen enemies. God created the real world, which he rules. We've got real ground.  The earth is not going to disappear. We are going to be here forever. We cannot become mindless and imaginary.  We need to fight with people who are actually enemies.

149 6 "The praise of God be in their mouth, and in their hands a double-edged sword, 7 to avenge the nations and chastisement among the peoples." We must quickly subdue, capture and conquer the pagan land simply captured by the devil.Therefore, God gave the gospel with eternal declarations never frustrated. The everlasting gospel of divine law, covenants, curses, official decrees, statutes, and specific promises is a gospel of life and death. The gospel is the eternal decrees of God made in an active effort to quickly demolish major fortresses. No doubt we have pagans on the leash of curses pronounced. The everlasting gospel is more than a moral message.The inspired apostle taught that the word of God is a two-edged sword. It is a covenant bond to carefully protect the saints under consideration from widespread abuse. If we intentionally make political deals with the relentless enemy, we will not keep our life and death pact with the Saints. This is why Christ accurately taught that if a man cares more about his life than the gospel, he cannot be a worthy disciple. Vigorously promote the whole gospel.
