What was absolutely necessary to abundantly satisfy the eternal curse? Why did this historic event come at the right time after countless thousands of years of official history in the Ideal World? Before this historic event, all sin and moral suffering did not in fact attain lasting satisfaction. The law was implemented at the humble beginning of time.The law in the garden was always satisfied because it never opposed it. But when sin entered, the law was realistically an angry wolf devouring anything marked by official corruption and sin. The guilty anger and deep sorrow of sin was endured stoically by the disappointed hope that one day this criminal law would be silenced by being satisfied. But until then this law would have enraged and devoured anything that had the slightest trace of corruption. A sin in an adulterous generation has just turned out to be more costly sins.And subsequent generations just piled one sin on top of another. The terrible mountain of sin inevitably meets the devastating wolves of criminal law. It was really like a nuclear reactor ready to explode. But when the Man who has accumulated after thousands of grave sins, this Man who took upon himself all this furious law. He painstakingly endured those miserable years of suffering and cruel slavery to the criminal law that had been stopped for thousands of years, just devouring one miserable sinner after another.This God Man has come to let the reactor blow all the steam under the pressure of severe condemnation and silence the law once and for all! I fondly imagine that when he exploded from that grave, you could hear a pin drop to the ground in the silence marked by all of creation heave a sigh of relief. Sin Has Finally Been Satisfied The law cannot roar. Oh deep peace and quiet. Oh unlimited faith in the recall of this historic event.It was all that old mess of pain and overwhelming desire that gave way to absolute satisfaction and proclaimed it was over in triumph. So when Christ united the blessing and the curse for all eternity, the eternal righteousness of God could not fail. Every possible reason in every specification, the question now points to this culminating event. And those laws, covenants, curses, eternal decrees, statutes, and promises that Christ made over all kingdoms were final. The kingdom pronounced on the fruitful earth is fulfilled satisfactorily.
