The psalmist carefully taught the means necessary to properly understand our distinct identity through applicable law, the everlasting covenant, and the promise made by God. Without the distance between our sin and the kingdom established, we would never realize who we are.

the kingdom established is so far away from our sin that we couldn't recognize our true identity if we didn't know the distance.

The Psalmist teaches the means necessary to understand our religious identity, which is maintained by religious law, the everlasting covenant, and a promise made by God.

The Psalmist teaches the law, which tells us about our very specific identity.  If we didn’t know that the kingdom established is a lot bigger than our sin, we wouldn’t know who we are.

God promised that the Israelite's would survive and would be a blessing to others, and that we would always have a place in his home.  If we did not know how much we had changed, we would not know that we are still sinning.

The kingdom established was immense and we know how far we have fallen from that kingdom.

The gospel is an amazing gift, but it is humanly impossible to do. Grace is the only means, but it is God's way of offering salvation. Don't try to bridge the gap by human effort because it will never be completely filled.

It is humanly impossible to imitate the gospel. There is nothing we can do to earn God's love and forgiveness so we must accept what is freely given. Don't try to bridge the gap through manpower.

The gospel was set in stone by Jesus himself. Therefore, grace is the only means.

The gospel is too complex for humans to duplicate.  That is why only grace is the only way to make it.  Human effort is not the answer.

If you try to bridge the gap by human effort, it will make it bigger.

25 8 The Lord is good and upright; therefore, he instructs sinners in his ways. “The Psalmist carefully taught the means necessary to properly understand our distinct identity through applicable law, the everlasting covenant, and the promise made by God. We would never recognize our established identity if we did not know the enormous distance between the kingdom established and our sin. This potential problem is considerably greater than our mere concerted efforts to act upon our new position as lawful kings in the eternal kingdom. We must intuitively understand who is good and righteous, and who is the chief sinner. C that's why we always conclude that we are not conforming to the ethical standard. It is not because we naturally lack personal capacity. But because God has willingly given us the extraordinary gift of the law and the deep knowledge of sin. These generous donations prevent us from committing motivated violence against our dear neighbor. Our deplorable condition goes beyond anything we can do to make ourselves barely acceptable. We are to peacefully exercise the extraordinary gifts that God has carefully applied to the objective model of Christ's reasonable satisfaction; therefore, the gift of the necessary knowledge of sin balances the law and the eternal curse of our organized opposition. We cannot hate by uttering the wrath of God because of the intuitive understanding of our sinful incapacity. We are sufficiently educated while living on the blessing and curse line to reasonably assume our established identity in Christ. We are introduced into the eternal kingdom of our good and just Lord.
