Now think about it this way. Jesus being God created the world and placed man in the garden. Why did Jesus create man? What was the command? It was for man to rule the earth. In the incarnation Jesus was prophesied as the coming of David. What did David do with Jesus? David established the creation ordnance for man to rule the earth in a lawful government. Dont you think the David in the incarnation was doing what David only accomplished a short time? Christ came to be David over the earth. He pronounced the law, covenants, curses, decrees, statutes and promises, to put all things under His feet and take the spoils of the earth with Him on His throne. Therefore, the circumstances of government are interrelated to the incarnation. Christ will renew the earth and we will rule. Its not a stretch to see Christ representing Davids earthly rule by condemning the abuses of Israels leaders . The gospel is about condemning as well as savior· o3n
