Our prayers come from our lack of insight into the problems we face and what we think is necessary to address those problems. In a world that is very turbulent, when we ask, we struggle with doubts. At the same time, we can be confused about what we want. The need for personal healing and what we believe are necessary to face the situation for which we are praying. I think God sees these things realistically. If prayer was all about coming to God and asking, then we could make a list but never experience relational self-care.The moment we say that God is not personally focusing on us could be exactly what we need from Him to guide us.
We have needs in order to survive. This part of our relationship with God is selfish. I mean, when we are desperate, we feel confused and insecure. We see prayer as a spiritual exercise of asking and waiting. The prayer is part of Your answer to our prayers. In a sense, our prayer is related to the fact that God creates desires in us which he expands our hearts in order to create the ground for passionate prayer. So God focuses on us responding to a need he has deepened in us while we relieve our hearts.
God has many different faces in prayer. All we need is who He is to us. Hence, personal prayer differs in some ways from awkward prayer. Personal prayer is more intimate and passionate, while awkward prayer is our argument about what our goal is and why we need Him to answer.God has no way of answering our prayers with a specific purpose, but he enjoys the fact that we formulate our prayers in a way that moves him to answer. Survive.
