Let me distinguish between the biblical following and a subjective view. A biblical following goes beyond the moral equation to loyalty. Christ set impossible standards for his disciples. If we argue the universe was purely moral, we will conclude that He offered behavior that amounted to full observance of the law, but we know He taught holistically, without focusing on the outside. It is one thing to say if you stick to a certain standard is a way to save your life or to say that if you want to save it, you will lose your life. Christ described a community whose connection was much deeper than morality. It came about through abandonment and loyalty to a society in which the vision of this world was more than 50 percent balanced with the other 50 percent. It was an assumption based solely on His actions at the most difficult moments in the history of His death, and the perfect example of His ears being pierced; and by this success, by his perfect will, he led a multitude of captives in his victory into eternity.
The whole world was brought to a place of silence at the sacrifice of Christ. The whole world turned their backs on the Lamb of Glory; Christ accepted the statement of the law that curses all people; there was no promise of blessing in the religious observance of that day; worship in the temple was dead; there was no longer any prophecy spoken through Urmin and Thumman.Only Christ in His work gave refuge to the prisoners of the great flood of wickedness on this earth; death was united on the cross to find life in Christ; the perfect keeper of the law blessed some people with eternal life and out of his perfect will came not only to preach the righteousness of heaven on this earth, but became this righteousness for his people. His will is transmitted to his people through this single act of obedience. This is the perfect law of freedom. "As for the works of men... By the word of your lips... I have kept myself from the path of the violent." Violence is a word he did not say for us and whose only blessing is that it becomes our righteousness for us. Violence.
