All of Christ's teaching comes from Old Testament Law; Christ made no new law; the Old Testament is not out of date; it is revealed in the New Testament; the law was given to show man his sin.The law was given to Israel; It was given so God could finally save the nations through Israel. How did God work through Israel to spread his kingdom throughout the world? He didn't wait for Israel to obey the law. God decided to do it. Give Israel the law so they can show the whole world they can use a sinful people to finally bring their salvation to the ends of the earth.
God did not choose Israel because of Israel. He selected a remnant that was Israel, but not all people were the real Israel. God came to certain people within the nation because He chose to save people; therefore, God's wrath was directed not only on the lawbreaking nations but also on the account of Israel. The story was one of the infidelities. This doctrine of unfaithfulness does not apply to saved sinners.Infidelity is a word that describes people who are religious but worship other idols.
When God chose to create a people through personal interaction, He proved himself faithful to make the elect successful. Salvation is a refuge that creates a vision in God's people in which the world is passing. So when we confess that infidelity is a traitor, our vision is where we come from, not who we are. Salvation is everything from God and from all of us.It is the other way around, and God gives us everything, we confess we cannot, and we go forward to be successful for ourselves by confessing that salvation does not lie with who we are or in what we have done, we confess as we have been saved. If salvation is real, He must save you personally. We don't want to be treated like the unbelievers who remind us of the past. When we understand salvation, we always want to be set free as we were saving our own skin. We live in our own thoughts while God reigns on earth as a kingdom that is within us.
