Ah ... the theology of in-between. God offers and it is up to us to be saved. Some people say that God is sovereign, but man is responsible but not sovereign in our decisions. So they create a contradiction of God as describing someone. That responds to the events of this world at both ends. God is an impersonal moral code that is set in motion, in which he experiences the greatest fear when we sin and a friend when we repent.God is robbed of his power, and Christ is robbed of his riches.
And yet, as they teach, if Paul meant exactly what he said, your great God is ready to deign to implore us. Hey What kind of God is that? Awesome, isn't it?

God is condescending to us in our weakness, therefore God is in our skin. What seems hopelessly complicated to us, we react in ways that are never the same, but God finds us empowered to overcome ourselves and consumes our pain, anger, fear. There is no love that we experience. That conforms to God's standard of eternal love. We cannot handle this type of love, but the power of the love experience is enough to give us a greater experience of glory, and consuming our worries is like taking a sedative from a doctor.God comes to us as Someone who is able to wipe us out for who He is, but who answers us in perfect, experienced balance.
