I agree that in every profession there are essential details for a good performance, but when we speak the Psalms it is not a mechanical and detailed explanation of a profession, this can be a bit confusing as we are trying to dissect a change in a person's disposition. These invisible creations cannot be presented into a medical book or moral guide. Therefore, the word of God remain not necessarily a written word, but an ongoing proclamation to produce effectively out of evil. God designed an creative idea that we borrow, so no operative word in itself or an creative idea that we naturally bring into our direct experience is necessarily bad. There is a appropriate place for a successful spell in sacred Scripture.

But now there are concealed enemies and we could argue visible enemies from throughout history up to this point that have affected our quality of life.
The Psalms, not to try to explain every act of God while he regulates the world, but God collects us when we encounter opposition.That is what salvation is all about. The invisible God who acts in our private life to forcibly prevent and graciously allow. Our experience isn't undoubtedly in the details of our choices, but we can find fulfilling lives by examining all the details God needs to cause something out of nowhere in our lives, and in that sense we constantly experience good karma.
