2For in your own eyes it is too flattering to see your
sin or to hate it. The psalmist teaches that when we do not have
oracles in our hearts, we practice some form of flattery. His heart in
the previous verse. The psalmist has the oracles. in his heart that the
wicked do not want and that is flattery. It really is a disgusting
heart. Then we accuse God of hatred with the curse of sin. We cannot be
sufficiently justified by the disgusting heart. The words of his mouth
are mean and misleading. ; He stopped being wise and doing good.
”Even in his bed he has bad plans; he commits sinful behavior and does
not reject evil "and compares the words of the oracles with the words of
the wicked, uses the ideas and words to create his own god. Since man
does not fear God, since he hates oracles, he trains to make one's own
god or to hate one's fellow human beings; it is not even about the
attitude of hatred, but the process by which reality is viewed.Think of
all the Christians who do not judge properly because of the laziness of
knowing the oracles, the grace that God gives is beyond our
understanding, the judgments we use are very self-deception, but thank
God we practice them Sin not here is the psalmist speaking. 4 Evil
forges even in his bed; He practices sinful behavior and does not reject
wrong. Unlike the Christian, the evil one goes one step further and
breaks all good in society. Sin is ra a. He does not reject ra a. The
main difference is that by divine grace. we are set free and by grace
the word of God is implanted in us. But of course the wicked do not have
a proper understanding of God because the new man is not passed on to
them. So we practice the sin of rebellion. We don't judge by oracles and
the sin of making other gods, we don't know God through oracles, but we
do it out of misunderstanding and not out of hatred.
It can be seen that the psalmist does not set the believer against the
thoughts and works of evil man, but rather describes the oracles of God.
Anyone who loves oracles knows that God cannot accept our good works.
Salvation, where defending God means defending God's people, we speak of
law, covenants, curses, etc. We would not destroy all that is good in
this world because of God's love and loyalty, but because of God's
grace. 6 Your righteousness is like mountains, your righteousness like
the great depths; the psalmist uses the name EL, sovereign and dominates
all things; this God never changes his law; he judges all things; his
curses are always righteous. describes those of the wicked who practice
ra a and the righteous indignation of God over the curse. It is not our
job to get revenge. 7 How priceless is your infallible love! Both the
high and the low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings.
“God's righteous indignation is not hateful because He shows mercy by
allowing the wicked to repent. Its specific purpose is to redeem
humanity. Good God all the time. He speaks of God's holy promises in
divine oracles, a refuge from which we can miraculously escape all
potential dangers in this world.
