Some theologians say that we are living in a time when it is already fulfilled, but we do not own all that Christ has obtained; we have a responsibility to think right and then to act right. But not yet taught. They will say that God did his part and now it is up to us to do our part. Hence, they separate our personal discipline from God's sovereign action on us through His Spirit. The Bible says that since we die to sin, we must kill it by the Spirit. Many sane people say that these specific terms "bring dead. Consider yourself dead to sin" are mere analogies of how we conduct our disciplines. But we need to understand how the coherent body of Scripture uses these potent words in both the Old and New Testament so that the conscious act of mortification is more than mere discipline to improve moral conduct.

It is an effective means of eliminating anything that contradicts our real faith; consequently, to kill something is to overcome all decided opposition; it is a military term; It is more than a change in moral character; the apostle paints us with precision, a complete picture, when he describes this lifelong struggle as a war with flesh and the devil. It does not mean that the life of this product consists in substantial parts that is, our mutual responsibility and God's divine sovereignty. But it adequately describes our relationship with Christ as our cessation of existence. We are not saying that there is an intermediate motive for being in control of ourselves in our annihilation experience, but we are losing our trust that God needs our corrective actions to sufficiently complete His redeeming story.By eliminating everything we believe in, we cannot offer anything that is equal to God's work. So we are commanded to kill the flesh. We must humbly confess that it is not in our power. This is a definite analogy to military power: the "most reliable" power in the world. How great is this determined resistance? It is not a struggle with sin, but a resistance that tries to destroy our souls. The law is not a pragmatic authority to morally oppose our ambitious desire. A creative ability to thwart the compelling power of sin when it brings death to its destructive resistance. The implanted law aptly contains the sin of our federal representative.

Christ abundantly satisfied the law by keeping us from being destroyed by sin.He enables us to overcome all destructive obstacles; When Adam sinned, not only did he get the profound consequences, but he also began to experience indirectly the spiritual effects of his sin; he went through the process of cursing everything around and within him. Persistent restrictions. Because of the curse, man no longer plays a role in the whole story of eternal salvation. We die and there is no hope without cursing the destructive curse. We encounter a destructive enemy whose attack is more subtle and detailed. He tries to ruin us with fear, anger, sadness and pain. The law is the only means of killing the destructive curse of sin. Satan flees the authorized pronouncements of the law, covenants, curses, ordinances, and statutes.
