Ps 93 2 Your throne was established long ago;

you are from all eternity. "

This throne of God is not a local or physical throne. This throne was Gods control of all of creation that was decreed before the foundation of the world as if whatever comes to pass had already existed. The Psalmist calls God the King of the earth. So the Psalmist is comparing the activity of the oceans with the creative tools of God in ordering all the events of the earth. These creative tools are His law, covenants decrees, curses, promises, ways and statutes. 5 Your statutes stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days, O LORD ."

The statutes are the result of the activity of the law, covenants ,curses etc is Gods perfect pronouncements which order and reorder all reality. In other words within the complex world of opposition exist the foundation of order and symmetry of real reality..that being Gods present kingdom on this earth. The ten commandments place limits on man that are impossible to keep. God must provide the ability in salvation to restrain His elect. We have the foundation of completeness that controls our desires. The statutes stand firm.

But the Psalmist is overcome with wonder as he watches the sea rise up in the waves. He is comparing the rising of the sea and crashing of the waves to God power in destroying the nations. 3 The seas have lifted up, O LORD ,

the seas have lifted up their voice;

the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.

4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,

mightier than the breakers of the sea-

the LORD on high is mighty.

The activity of the law, covenants..etc work as the foundation of the Psalmist desires which bring man back to the original covenant of ruling and enjoying Gods gifts of creation. The perfect work of God in the law etc is the universal unity that is displayed in God overruling all other kingdoms as the King who is completely holy rises up to sit on His throne. 1bThe world is firmly established;

it cannot be moved. So in this context Gods house is Davids kingdom that is ruling over all the nations. God gave David and his descendants unlimited power to rule the earth through these pronouncements.
