This Psalm carefully instructs our sincere desires are inseparably united with Gods we vicariously experience a kingdom that amply demonstrates no limits of time. Our kingdom desires are frustrated by apparent inability to steadfastly maintain possible success of our desires. This is seldom advised in the pragmatic age. The Psalms accurately describe the holistic activity of God satisfactorily accomplishing all things for the ultimate purpose of holiness. God carefully marks all time in one comprehensive view. His immutable law and eternal covenants are completely successful. The king is frustrated in his past desires are always being redefined to vicariously experience the holistic purposes of Gods holiness. His sincere desires of justified anger or unspeakable joy in the past events are never forgotten.

There is an ethical teaching  God conveniently forgets our sins like He eliminates them from personal history. We suffer from this obsession with forgiveness not remembering, making us better. But this is just a foolish idea. Because everyone fondly recalls their historic past. And to say we are capable to conveniently forget what invariably happened is disingenuous in accurately describing the imperfect condition. As if we are capable to realistically accomplish superhuman feats. If people were sincere, who would proclaim they are exonerated because they seek genuine forgiveness? In point of fact they should be silenced for the rest of their days since the moral law undoubtedly requires death upon candid confession. Why is it that we universally adopt these biblical concepts and haul them down to an appropriate level we can carefully control? The truth remains our sincere desires are under a moral obligation to faithfully fulfill His ideal government. We must sufficiently satisfy our sincere desires. In this Psalm it properly advises the legitimate use of past desires come up in the historical present. Its not whether we can conveniently forget and persistently deny but employ desires from being wronged or receiving rewards as principal motives for more considerable success.

And you note the effective teaching of the Revelation where God carefully collects our prayers in eternal heaven presented before the altar. They are cast as glowing balls of fire of moral judgement upon the earth. The Psalmist is presenting past anger in a legitimate motive in vicariously experiencing notable success. You will discover this specific kind of timeless perspective when he justly complains about his moral suffering. His past memory of anger or happiness increases the passion to pray. God carefully notes the historical events from His eternal perspective. His earnest desires remain before God in eternity.God rewards the reasonable and intense desires in our lifelong passion to overcome all opposition graciously receiving the salvation of God.
